Crain Oil Company, Inc. was founded in Newnan, Georgia in 1954. The original name of the company was Millard C. Farmer Oil Company.

Millard C. Farmer Oil Company was the first Phillips 66 marketer in the state of Georgia. Millard C. Farmer sold the company in the mid 60’s to Joe and Elizabeth (Farmer) Crain, who eventually changed the name to Crain Oil Company, Inc. The business is still family owned and operated and proudly waves the Phillips 66 and Texaco brands.
